Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim (APC Yobe East) has called on the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to intervene and resettle herdsmen as the only way to curb clashes between herdsmen and farmers in the region.
In an interview with newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday, the senator called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the governments all other West African Countries to intervene in the matter.
According to him, all the 15 countries must be involved as if it must be effective as no one nation can solve the problem in its country since the nomads will continue to move.
